Melissa & Michael’s Hamilton Farms Golf Club wedding was an absolute dream day! I feel like I’d been looking forward to their wedding day since Melissa first reached out. When we first chatted over email, Melissa described her vision for their wedding day. She said, “the vision of my wedding in my head looks very light and airy with a modern farmhouse vibe. I see blush pinks and warm fall colors with a very laid back, yet elegant, feel. I also see it really focusing in on the little details that will really make it special (I am ALL about the details in everything in life).”
Some of my favorite details of their day ended up being the ones centered around their pups! I loved the acrylic drink stirrers and signature drinks featuring each of their two pups. The cake topper figurines and fat head photobooth props were so much fun! I loved all the thought Melissa put into making everything feel very “them”.
I have WAY too many favorite photos from their wedding day, and I can’t wait to share them all. But first, a little bit of their love story!
When I asked Melissa and Mike to share with me one thing they love about each other they gave such sweet answers. Melissa said, “I love how funny and caring Michael is. He would literally do anything to help others!” And Mike said, “I love her personality!”
Melissa and Mike first met through a friend years ago. Melissa said, “We were friends for a while before we started dating and the rest is history! We have been together for 6 years and along the way have made many unforgettable memories – from buying our 1st home, welcoming two fur babies into our family, and to traveling numerous places throughout our time we have been dating. We are super excited to take this next step in our lives!”
You’ve got to hear how Mike proposed to Melissa! Melissa gave me the inside scoop! She said, “Our proposal took place on 10/4/2020 at Tranquility Farms when we were pumpkin picking with my family. It was very unexpected, and I was very shocked! Fall/pumpkin picking is one of my favorite things to do so it was the perfect proposal that we will be able to ‘relive’ each year when we go pumpkin picking at our favorite farm in our hometown.”
Melissa & Michael, thank you so much for having us as a part of your wedding day! It was absolutely perfect and such a joy to celebrate with you two! Ryan and I are so grateful for you two and your friendship. Cheers to all the exciting and beautiful things that lie ahead in this next chapter of your love story! We love you! xoxo
