Yacht Club of Sea Isle City Wedding | Nicole & Kelson

Their Wedding Day: Yacht Club of Sea Isle City

Nicole & Kelson’s Yacht Club of Sea Isle City wedding was crafted to feel like “them” in every way. From their intimate ceremony with just family, to the most perfect bridal sneakers, and end of the night Chick-Fil-A cart, everything felt personalized. It always makes me so happy to couples choose to throw any “rules” out the window, and truly make their wedding a celebration of their love in their own unique way!

These two chose Sea Isle for their wedding location because it’s meaningful to them! Nicole explained when she first reached out, “Our wedding will be at the Yacht Club in Sea Isle City…it’s important to us to get all of our people together for a great time since our people are from all over the country. I grew up going to Sea Isle (my family has beach homes there) so the town itself is super important to me. Sea Isle has now become me and Kelson’s “safe space” – if we’re feeling stressed/overwhelmed/etc the two of us and Malcolm will take a quick trip down there to “reset” and decompress. The location is super meaningful to us.”

I have so many favorite photos to share from this amazing day! But first, a bit of Nicole & Kelson’s love story.

Their Love Story

Nicole and Kelson first met on Bumble in 2019. Nicole told me, “after talking for a few weeks, we decided to meet at a bar in New Brunswick. Kelson knew I was a rangers fan and that there was a game that night, so he made sure that the bar would have the game on for me (without even asking or talking to me about it prior).”

When I asked these two to share with me one thing they love about each other, Nicole said, “I love his sense of calm, his eloquence, his dedication to what/whom he loves.” Kelson said, “I love her intelligence.”

The Proposal

Kelson proposed to Nicole at the Beacon Theater before a Brett Eldredge Christmas Concert last December. As Nicole tells it, “Brett is a favorite of mine and my family and we go to that show every year (it’s where Kelson met my parents for the first time in 2019!) We’ve taken a picture in front of the Christmas trees in the lobby every year, so I thought we were just getting our annual pic, but Kelson proposed and my mom was filming (she had the ring in her purse the whole night leading up!!). And my grandma was there which was really really special.”

To the Newlyweds

Nicole & Kelson, thank you so much for having us as a part of your big day, and this special season! It was an absolute joy to celebrate you two and your marriage and capture so much love and excitement on your wedding day! We’re so excited for you both and the start of this next chapter, and can’t wait to see all the adventures that lie ahead for you two! Sending the biggest hug and all our love! xoxo
