This Fall family session at Princeton University was incredibly special in a whole lot of ways. I’ve known Brittany for so many years – we went to high school together! And then several years ago I had the honor of photographing her and Lawrence’s wedding at Avensole Winery, and engagement session, which – fun fact – also took place at Princeton! Brittany and Lawrence have the most adorable, fun, and joyful son, named Atlas. It was so amazing to photograph them again in this sweet season of life with their little man turning THREE!! I had so much fun revisiting Princeton with them for a family session this fall, and just getting to reconnect and catch up!
Some of my favorite photos are the ones of Atlas stomping in the rainy puddles, running like the wind, and beaming with laughter. Family photos that feel natural and personality-filled are always my favorite. 🙂 Capturing a family’s connection happens in those little in-between moments throughout the session. The best way to get photos that feel like you is to have fun at your session and focus on connection over perfection!
I’m so excited to share so many favorite images and moments from this session!
Brittany & Lawrence, thank you so much for having me capture another special season for your beautiful family! Seeing you two as parents to the sweetest boy was so awesome, and truly a JOY to photograph! It’s the biggest honor to be a part of such special milestones and to preserve these sweet memories. I am forever grateful for you guys, your trust, and your friendship! You are truly the best! I love you guys so much! Sending the biggest hug! xoxo
