Alana and Ben began their forever in Spring Lake, NJ near where they grew up. It was such an honor to document their day and celebrate their marriage with them at Spring Lake Manor. From start to finish the day was filled with happy tears, the biggest smiles you could imagine, and just so much love.
Alana and Ben are two of the most kind-hearted people I’ve had the joy to work with. They care so much for each other and those around them, and the way they give so freely of themselves to others creates an atmosphere of love that just surrounds them. People like Alana and Ben are hard to come by. And the fact that they found an equally loving and kind partner in each other, well how could you not believe in soul mates!? It was incredible to feel all the love that filled their wedding day – not only the love between Alana and Ben, but the love all their friends and family have for them. The light and joy that they radiate cultivates such a warm group of people, who were all there cheering them on and supporting their journey of marriage.
Their wedding appropriately had tandem bike details sprinkled throughout the day. From Ben and the groomsmen’s socks, and the cake topper, to their first dance song “Bicycle Built for Two” and of course the specially refinished wedding tandem bike itself! Alana and Ben are ridiculously talented and have a hobby of riding, collecting, and fixing up old tandem bikes. Their wedding bike was perfect with the white paint finish and brown leather seats! (See another one of their beautiful bikes “Tiffany” that had her close up in their engagement session here!) And in lieu of favors, Alana and Ben made a donation to Bikes & Vehicles for Missions. Their tandem-bike themed wedding was perfectly ‘them’.
Congratulations Alana and Ben!! Wishing you guys a lifetime and more of happiness together! 🙂
Alana did a first look with her bridal party, and their reaction gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes, hearing how they screamed with excitement at how beautiful a bride Alana was.
