Their Session: Beekman Hotel Engagement Session, NYC
Carly & Kenny’s Beekman Hotel engagement session is NYC was so much fun! These two have such a classy, elegant style, and the Beekman Hotel was the perfect location for their vibe! I loved all the cool architecture, colors, and textures in this unique spot! It paired perfectly with their chic and sophisticated attire!
When Carly first reached out to me we talked about their vision for their wedding. Carly described it as a timeless feel. She said “We want to look back on our wedding day 20 years from now and feel as though the style is still classic. Some adjectives would be: elegant, classy, timeless, chic, & formal. Our colors are emerald green, gold, black, and white. We love that the Park Savoy isn’t the typical wedding venue and has a unique charm.” This formal, classy, and timeless vibe from their engagement session gives a little glimpse of how incredible their wedding day is going to be!
I am over the moon in LOVE with their engagement photos and I cannot wait to share some of my favorites! But first I want to share a little bit of Carly & Kenny’s love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Carly about how she and Kenny met, she told me, “We are high school sweethearts and we have been “together” for eight and a half years! We were a part of the same friend group in high school and got to spend extra time together in the library during our freshman year. We both had major surgeries, so had to write gym reports in the library instead of attending gym class. Eventually we started dating the summer going into our senior year (4th of July to be exact). And we have been together ever since! Kenny went on to Rowan University and I went to Saint Joseph’s University, yet it was effortless to continue to grow together. After graduation we both worked in the Philadelphia area and eventually Kenny moved into the Manayunk townhouse I shared with my twin brother, Jimmy!”
