Dorothy & Charlie’s Buttermilk Falls NY wedding was picture perfect in every way. I loved the vibrant color palette, the beautiful grounds at Buttermilk Falls, and every carefully curated detail! They did an impeccable job planning a celebration of their love that felt like them. I can’t wait to share all my favorites images from their wedding day! But first I gotta share a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
I asked Dorothy and Charlie to share with me one thing that they love about each other. Dorothy said, “Charlie is the most genuinely kind person I’ve ever met. He’s so selfless and always puts others before himself.” Charlie said, “Dorothy is always thinking about everyone else and cares more about the people she loves than anyone I’ve met.” These two are so sweet and make such a perfect pair!
How They Met
Dorothy & Charlie first met while out with their friends at a bar called Brass Monkey over 5 years ago in Manhattan. Charlie’s friend accidentally stumbled into Dorothy and her friend. Charlie came over to apologize for his friend, and they ended up exchanging numbers and talking until 2 am! As they say, the rest is history!
The Proposal
You’ve got to hear how Charlie proposed! Dorothy tells the story best. She said, “It was a quarantine proposal! I went for my usual long walk along the east river with my sister emily (which Charlie arranged) and when I came back, the whole living room was set up to look like a fancy restaurant with nice tablecloths, candles, rose champagne, romantic music and he proposed (after I washed my hands and took off my ankle weights)! “
