Their Session: Cross Estate Gardens Spring Engagement
Cat & Tommy’s Cross Estate Gardens Spring engagement session was so dreamy! Cross Estate Gardens is a beautiful location any time of the year, but it definitely has a little extra magic with all the springtime blooms! Cat & Tommy are so much fun and were so down for any and everything during their session! We had a blast exploring all the pretty grounds and garden scenes together. I adore these two and couldn’t be more obsessed with how their photos turned out!! Before we dive into my many favorites, I gotta tell you about their love story.
Their Love Story
When I asked these two to share with me one thing they love about each other, Tommy said, “I don’t think I could ever pick one. But, if I had to, it would be Cat’s willingness to literally do anything for the people she loves.” Cat said, “I love everything about Tommy but my #1 favorite thing is that he will do anything that he puts his mind to. Tommy will always do his best to accomplish his goals and that is something that I really love and admire about him! He is the hardest working person I know.”
Cat and Tommy met through friends on St. Patrick’s Day of 2017 in NYC. Since then, they haven’t gone a day without speak, and knew that they would end up together. Cat says “It really was love at first site!”
The Proposal
Want to hear how Tommy asked Cat to marry him?! Cat tells it best. She told me, “I thought that we were going to be meeting friends of ours (another couple who are two of our bestfriends) for a double date! We always go on double dates with them in the NYC/Jersey City area. We were supposed to be eating at Battello in Jersey City and as we were approaching the restaurant, our friends texted us that they were “running late.” This was Tommy’s perfect timing to say “let’s walk around,” and he popped the question looking with the beautiful backdrop of NYC. Just on the other side of the water was the first time he said he loved me in 2017 while we were in NYC looking at Jersey City!! He’s a true romantic :-)”
