Erika & Ryan | Allaire Historic Village Engagement Session

Erika and Ryan visited a bunch of New Jersey parks in search of the perfect engagement shoot location. Let me tell you, friends, they found it! They chose the beautiful Allaire Historic Village – with the abundance of beautiful architecture, and diverse backdrops, they definitely picked a winner!

Erika and Ryan have such an effortless chemistry and connection. You can just tell they’re perfect for each other! 🙂 I had so much fun spending time with them shooting, exploring, and getting creative. With all of the obvious gorgeous buildings Allaire has, there was also a hidden gem we found that was a little more unexpected – a field FULL of the buttercups!! So naturally, we spent some time running and dancing through the field and it was glorious. I asked Ryan and Erika if they’d want to try something, and lay down in the flowers for a few shots. And they were up for anything – just another reason I love these two! BUT as Ryan luckily noticed the crazy amounts of pollen on their shoes (and ALL over me from rolling around the ground) we decided to double back at the end to make those the last shots. After finishing up our rounds around the park, it was almost closing time. The park closed at 6:00, so with only a few minutes left, we dodged the security patrol to get back to the field full buttercups to try “just one more”! 🙂 And it was totally worth it! But don’t take my word for it – check it out! 😉

Totally worth it, am I right??  😉 AND – how awesome is her ring! So unique and beautiful! I LOVE it!

Thank you Erika and Ryan for such a fun day of shooting! I can not wait to celebrate your marriage this Fall! 🙂
