Hometown Fall Engagement Session | Angela & Bobby

Their Session: Hometown Fall Engagement Session

Angela & Bobby’s hometown fall engagement session might just be one of my favorite sessions ever. We had SO MUCH FUN! These two are contagiously joyful and a dream to photograph. These two are good friends of ours and I knew their session was going to be special.

I first met Angela when I was shopping for my wedding dress. Fate landed me in her store, Belfiore Bridal, and I immediately knew we were gonna be friends. I bought my dress from her store, and she was the LIFESAVER who coordinated our wedding day and helped me bring all my crazy ideas to life. I truly couldn’t love her more.

And then I met Bobby! Bobby is an insanely talented contractor and electrician who has helped us make our house even more of our home. He has a heart of gold and is absolutely the PERFECT match for Angela. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect dynamic duo than these two. Together they are truly unstoppable.

Their love story plays a big part into why their session locations were so special. They chose their hometown…and more specifically the street they grew up on and lived across from each other on. We also took photos at their home they live in now, and in the workshop where they make magic happen, building things together & creating! And of course they had to include BARRY! The cutest Bassett Hound pup I’ve ever seen. I am beyond excited for all these photos, but first you have to read more of their love story!

Their Love Story

When I asked Angela & Bobby to share with me one thing they love about each other they gave the sweetest answers! Angela said, “his heart! It is so big for his body. He’s always doing everything for everyone else without ever questioning it. He’s always 10 steps ahead of everybody and it’s doing everything everybody needs before even thinking twice about himself.” Bobby said, “Angela’s drive and passion for everything she pours her heart into is beyond compare and she has the soul of my childhood best friend that I just want to play with every day of the rest of my life.. her heart is 10 times bigger then she will ever let you believe.”

How They Met

These two go WAYYY back. As Angela tells it, “realistically the first time I met Bobby I was five.… But as we got older our friendship grew and he was always the boy next door that I had a crush on. Fast forward 17 years my racks fell down at my store and my current contractor had gave me an outrageous price and my mom made me call Bobby. The day he walked up to my store I knew he was the love of my life!”

And as Bobby tells it, “of course we grew up across the street and I couldn’t help but want Angela to come play but all these years later she reached out for an emergency repair at her shop and the moment I walked out of that bridal shop I thought to myself “I just went to a bridal shop for a bride”.. ambitious I know.” Seriously, how cute are these two?!

And Bobby ended up asking Angela to be his bride in her bridal shop. I had the honor of photographing that special moment too, and can’t wait to share that on the blog soon as well!
