Their Wedding Day:
Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm

Stephanie & Jeff’s wedding at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm was so amazing from start to finish! Locust Hall Farm is stunning and has so many gorgeous portrait locations! From the lush sunflower fields, and long driveway, to the pretty picturesque swing, shooting at this venue was a dream come true! Not to mention, Stephanie & Jeff have such an electric, joyful connection – it’s contagious. I loved spending the day alongside these two, celebrating their marriage!

I can’t wait to share all the stunning photos from their wedding day with you, but first I need to tell you a little more about their fairy-tale of a love story!

Their Love Story

I absolutely love the story of how Steph and Jeff met. As Steph tells it, “we met at the bar I use to work at, Papillon 25. He came in but there weren’t any seats at the bar, so he left. I noticed him walk in immediately (starstruck, yes). About 20 minutes later, I saw him sitting in the section that I was working. It took him a while to smile, one he did I walked over to him and said “Hey, you’re looking at me like you want to say something?” He said “Yes, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.” The rest was history.” I especially loved that we took some of their engagement photos right outside of Papillon 25, in the spot these two shared their first kiss. 🙂 Check out their engagement blog post here.

Just wait til you hear about their proposal!! Stephanie told me, “For my 25th birthday Jeffrey gifted me with a trip to Rome to travel with my sister and her husband. He told me he couldn’t come because it was impossible for him to take time off from work. The morning we got engaged, I had called my sister around 9 am because we had planned to get breakfast (she was staying in the room below mine). I told her that I was going to go down to her room to see what she was wearing, but she adamantly told me she would come up to mine. She helped me pick out an outfit and we headed to the top floor to get breakfast. While at breakfast we were talking about Jeffrey, how much I missed him, and how much I couldn’t wait for him to ask me to marry him lol!!!!! Low and behold, as we were heading down towards the Colosseum (our hotel was right in front of it) we had to cross an intersection. My brother in law was trying to get us to stop and take a picture, but we were there the day before and took many pictures !!!!!! So I just kept walking. As I reached the bottom of the path, my eyes locked with Jeffrey’s and I completely froze. He was holding a box in his hands walking towards me & I was sooooo excited to say ‘Yes!’ I completely forgot about the ring!!!!!” Seriously how sweet are these two!! I love how Jeff surprised Stephanie – such an incredible story!

When I asked Stephanie & Jeff what they love about each other, Stephanie said, “He brings me so much peace & tranquility.” And Jeff said, “How much energy and passion for life she has.”
