I always know I can count on Park Chateau weddings to be a blast, and Christina and Anthony’s was one for the books, as expected! Christina told me, “This was the first venue we visited and the last! We absolutely loved it and canceled our other appointments for other wedding venues. When I walked into the ballroom (even while it was still under construction), I got goosebumps. Every detail is so beautiful.”
This gorgeous wedding was so thoughtfully designed and planned by some incredible vendors, like my amazing friend’s of Michelle Elise Artistry for hair and makeup, the superbly talented Twisted Willow florists, and such an awesome coordinator Mallory Weiss who all helped this day run so smoothly! Twisted Willow went above and beyond with the florals by making a dreamy garden around the staircase in the main lobby where you first enter Park Chateau, and adding amazing floral elements like the wreaths on the trolley and vintage car, and the backdrop of the photobooth! The Pop Shop photo booth was SO COOL, with all of their hand selected vintage props that were super unique and fun! All the details of Christina & Anthony’s day were so beautifully put together and carefully planned. Also, I definitely can’t complain that these two gave me allllllll the portrait time, so we could maximize their bride and groom photos around all of the amazing scenery at Park Chateau!! My kind of people ;)!
These two met at her best friend’s birthday party. Anthony is actually best friends with Christina’s best friend’s fiancé! Her best friend had been telling her for months prior about Anthony and that they would make a great couple, but Christina didn’t give it much thought at the time. When they saw each other at the party, they had instant chemistry and quickly began dating! Christina was living in New York City and Anthony worked there, so they were constantly meeting up for dinner dates – their favorite thing to do!
Christina says, “Anthony proposed in February and it was just perfect. He planned a special weekend and told me when it would be, but not the details. We had talked about engagement and were very serious about each other from the beginning, so I knew it was coming eventually. When the day arrived, he told me were spending the day in NYC and that he had gotten us an AirBnb in a high rise overlooking the whole city. Since I had moved back to New Jersey, we weren’t spending much time in the city, and he wanted to plan a day reminiscing of our early dating days. As soon as we checked in, I was looking around the apartment and admiring the gorgeous view. Anthony was behind me and said ” So I have a question to ask you ..”. When I turned around he was standing with an open jewelry box. We laughed and cried and told each other mushy things! He had a whole day planned of going to brunch, having coffee and crepes at Eataly, and then going to dinner with a Jazz show (we both visited New Orleans together and fell in love with jazz music).” How adorable are they?! 🙂
Christina and Anthony, you two are SO sweet and truly such genuine, kind people! I am so lucky that I get to work with the most amazing couples, and call them friends, more than just clients. You two had an absolutely spectacular wedding day, and this journey with you has been a pleasure beyond words! Congratulations!!! Love you two! <3
