Princeton University Fall Engagement Session | Amy & Andy

Their Session: Princeton University

Amy and Andy’s engagement session at Princeton University was a DREAM! I love shooting here because there are truly an infinite number of gorgeous spot to take photos! Despite the cold weather, these two absolutely CRUSHED it! They were so much fun to photograph! 🙂 I am obsessed with how their photos came out, and can’t wait to share some of my favorites! But first…their love story!

Their Love Story

I asked Amy & Andy to share with me one thing that they love about each other. Amy said, “I love that he also takes my side of an argument and that he always helps me around the house (he cleans, cooks, does dishes, laundry, you name it!).” Andy told me, “I love how Amy is always thinking of me in whatever she is doing. For example so she is always looking to buy stuff whenever she is out shopping whether it be clothes, small gift, or something even as small as a snack I mentioned.”

How They Met

Amy told me about how they met – she said, “We met during our first year in pharmacy school. We were both transfer students in the pharmacy program at Rutgers. I remember him and his lab partner standing next to me during one of our lab classes. My friends and I wanted to have more guy friends in our circle, and we thought they were cool, so we would make bets to try and talk to them (but we never did). Luckily, Andy stepped up his game, and randomly Facebook messaged me one day to ask me to sign him into class, which I agreed to do. He, also, managed to get my number during that Facebook convo. And since that day, we became friends.”

They had their first date at a popular all you can eat sushi place near Rutgers, and spent their whole date chatting and getting to know each other outside of a classroom setting. And now here they are engaged and soon to be married! You’ve got to hear how Andy popped the question!

The Proposal

Amy told me, “We actually took a trip to Japan and on one of our last days we traveled to the outskirts of Mt Fuji. He proposed in front of a lake overlooking the mountain. It was gorgeous!” Does it get any more magical and picturesque than that?! Such a memorable proposal moment – Andy knocked it out of the park!
