If you’re looking for a fun and joyful wedding day, you’ve come to the right place! Rachel and Matt are the epitome of a good time. Indian Trail Club was the perfect backdrop to an incredible day celebrating these two tying the knot. Between the gorgeous lake and the tall grassy area – this venue is simply stunning! AND as a bonus, Matt’s parents actually took their wedding photos at this same location, so it had that extra special family legacy that I love so much! On display during cocktail hour, Matt and Rachel included some family photos including one of Matt’s parents on their wedding day at Indian Trail Club. 🙂
Rachel & Matt met at college when they were studying at Ramapo College. As luck would have it, I got connected with these two through one of my best friends, Steph, who also went to Ramapo with them! I instantly bonded with Rachel and Matt when we met over coffee, and it’s been so amazing to be a part of this exciting season in their lives.
When Matt proposed to Rachel he completely surprised her down in LBI surrounded by family. Rachel and her cousins were out shopping, when they were called to come home and join everyone at the beach. When they arrived at the beach there was a chair with an iPad on it, playing a slideshow of pictures of them that Matt had put together. The slideshow concluded with instructions to turn around for their next step in the journey, and there Matt was down on one knee! So sweet! (And because of the special significance of this place, Matt and Rachel chose LBI as their engagement session location! It was amazing! Check out their LBI engagement session here!)
Rachel & Matt’s entire wedding day was incredible, from the absolutely perfect weather and sunset over the lake to working with some of my favorite vendors and friends, like the talented and amazing florists Paulina and TJ of Blue Jasmine! The DIY marble escort cards with rose gold calligraphy and the rose-gold-painted books in the centerpieces were just a few of the many special details that Rachel and Matt chose to accent their big day. In typical Rachel and Matt fashion, they passed around shots of Patron to all of the guests to take for the last toast before the party really started! At main course time, they also surprised twelve of their guests with a hidden Smirnoff Ice while dinner was being served, so the guests gathered around the dance floor to cheer on the lucky 12 who got “Iced”!
It was a day full of laughter and such amazing memories; I’m so thankful I was able to document the start of their forever. Congratulations, Rachel and Matt! Enjoy every second of this next big step in your journey together!
