Let me tell you a little more about these two lovebirds and their story! Lauren & Blain went on their first date back in 2015. They met up in Ridgewood, NJ and went for drinks and dinner at The Office. They connected right away, and had such great conversation on that date that they totally lost track of time. Lauren said, “We walked up and down the same street at least 10 times just chatting. We even went to Starbucks just to sit and continue talking.” I’d say that is a pretty perfect start to a relationship. And you can just tell that right from the start, these two are a perfect match, and the best of friends.
Their Session:
Ringwood Botanical Gardens
Lauren & Blain’s engagement session at the Ringwood Botanical Gardens was all kinds of springy perfection! These two are so sweet and so much fun to hang out with – their session was a BLAST! This location is so beautiful to shoot at because there’s always something new in bloom and new little nooks to find that make for amazing photos! Not to mention that Lauren & Blain love to go hiking here, so it was the perfect spot to take their engagement photos! It always makes my heart so happy when my couples are up for any and everything! Lauren and Blain were down to run through the fields, lay in the grass, and try every other crazy idea I threw their way! Not only did it make our shoot a ton of fun, but we also got a million great photos because of it!
Their Love Story
When I asked them what they love about each other, Lauren said she loves “how goofy and loving Blain is! He is always there for me :)”. And Blain said he loves “how hard of a worker Lauren is and how she always pushes me to be my best. She always makes me laugh.”
A perfect Saturday for these two would look like “Getting up around 9 a.m. and tidying up the room. We’d probably go to our favorite donut shop – Boxer Donut – in Nyack, NY. We’d get iced coffees and walk around town. We’ll probably do a Hudson Valley day trip to somewhere like Beacon, or another cute town and find a great local brewery! We would look for a great place to eat and be home before 11 (we’re early sleepers! Lol!).” It doesn’t get any more perfect than that – count me in!

Thank you two for being so incredible! Watching the way you two love each other brings me so much joy, and I couldn’t be happier that I get to be a part of your journey to marriage! Your engagement session was so amazing, and I can’t wait to see how the wedding is going to top it! ; ) I love you guys, and can’t wait to celebrate with you at Indian Trail Club next year!!
