Their Session: Seaside Park Engagement Session

Sierra & Ryan’s Seaside Park engagement session was SO. MUCH. FUN! These two are an absolute blast! We spent the first half of their session walking on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. The beach in the “off-season” is always a favorite! I loved having the boardwalk mostly to ourselves, and getting to have the fun carnival rides, and lights filling the backdrop. For the second half of our shoot, we went to the beach in Seaside Park, and got to soak in the most stunning pastel sunset!!! And the best part? Sierra & Ryan’s dog Buffy came to the beach and kinda stole the show! 😉 She was so cute, and well-behaved, and loved running all over the beach to play! I have so many favorite photos from their session, and can’t wait to share them all! But first, you know I have to share a bit of their love story! It’s a good one.

Their Love Story

I asked these two to share with me one thing they love about about each other. Sierra said, “Ryan balances me out! I can get very anxious and worked up about things, but he is always there to help work through the problems and calm me down.” And Ryan said, “Just one? There’s so many! Sierra keeps me on my toes and is always there to keep me organized and makes want to strive to be the best partner for her.”

These two met on hinge and had two virtual dates before meeting in person. They told me, “Technically, our first “date” was a video chat on Hinge! Sierra wore a t-shirt that she thought Ryan wouldn’t notice (he totally did) and we talked for about an hour. We had one more virtual date before meeting in person for dinner. Sierra was late and had to parallel park on the street, hoping Ryan wasn’t somewhere watching her bad parking (again, he totally saw everything lol). We talked all through dinner and had such a fun time we saw each other again later that weekend!”

Sierra told me how Ryan popped the question! She said, “Ryan proposed in Mallorca, Spain on 8/14/22 right before we attended a concert for one of my favorite artists. He said he had to outdo the concert.” They recently bought a home together and share the house and yard with their golden doodle, Buffy. 🙂

Sierra & Ryan, thank you so much for such an incredibly fun day! I had the best time with you two exploring and soaking in the sunset in Seaside Park! You guys are so filled with joy it’s absolutely contagious! I can’t wait for your wedding day next summer at Phoenixville Foundry! Until then enjoy all the excitement of being fiances!
