Family, friends, fur babies…do you really need anything else to make your wedding day perfect? Colleen & Ryan’s wedding day at Tarrytown House Estate was honestly a DREAM! These two are the absolute SWEETEST! And every part of their day was so focused on the things that mattered most to them. Which also meant including their precious golden retrievers Vail & Stowe in their ceremony! If you know me, you know how much I love it when dogs get to be a part of the wedding day! And just look at the flower wreaths the incredibly talented, Blue Jasmine Floral created for these pups!! I am obsessed!
To top it all off we got the most amazing golden sunset and took some of my favorite portraits on a balcony overlooking the Hudson Valley…yep, it was as magical as it sounds! Their wedding favors for guests to take home at the end of the night were just so dang cute, too! They didn’t just have gifts for the people, but also had treats for all the fur kids that were waiting for them. Isn’t that the best?! I seriously love Colleen & Ryan, and their hearts. Let me tell you a little more about these two – I bet you’ll love them and their story as much as I do!
Colleen and Ryan have an adorable story. These high school sweethearts started their friendship at a young age, before starting to date. Colleen tells it like this, “Ryan used to kick my chair in 7th grade to try and flirt with me. Ryan and I were best friends before we started dating in high school and he is in my phone as “Stunaddd” and in Ryan’s phone my name is “Mrs. Cuffs” which stands for curled up fatties because I have small curled up fat toes.” How funny is that! I love that they still have those names in their phone!
Colleen and Ryan love to spend time together, whether it’s finding some good pizza, walking their pups or traveling, these two love the adventures that they can have together. When I asked them what they love the most about each other, Ryan told me he loves Colleen’s heart. Colleen said she loves Ryan’s passion for everything he does! Spending any amount of time with these two you can clearly see they’re passionate about life, and each other, (and of course their furbabies). Want to see some more of these two, and Stowe when she was a just a pup?! Check out their Bear Mountain engagement session here!
Colleen & Ryan, I had such a blast getting to know you both (and Vail & Stowe)! Thank you for letting me be a part of this incredible part of your love story. Your wedding was beautiful and it was such an honor to be there with you and capture all these memories! I’m so grateful for you guys and love you tons! Congratulations newlyweds! I am so excited for what your future holds, and wish you endless love and happiness together! xoxo
