Warwick Winery, Warwick, NY
Heather and Bill’s engagement session at Warwick Winery was a BLAST! We got the most perfect fall colors, a perfect golden sunset over the mountains, and of course – wine! Could you ask for anything more?! Heather and Bill are so filled with joy. I loved getting to spend an afternoon hanging out with these two and documenting this season of their lives being engaged! I thought it was super fun that they incorporated their rival football team jerseys in the shoot as well! 😉 Let me tell you a little more about these two and their story!
Their Love Story
Heather and Bill’s first date was at a place called Jalapeños in Glen Rock! They met for drinks and were both nervous at first, but their date ended up going so perfectly. At the end of the night, it started to rain. Bill, being the thoughtful gentleman he is, walked to his car in the rain to get an umbrella so he could walk Heather to her car and she wouldn’t get rained on! How sweet is that? Heather told me that was something she would never forget. Now they’ve been together for years and Heather says, “I could not imagine life without him, he is my rock and supports and pushes me everyday! We joke around with each other, make each other laugh and smile. He is my best friend!”
Want to hear how Bill popped the question?! Heather told me, “We went away for the weekend to Old Forge, NY to a friend’s cabin, just the two of us! As soon as we got there, we ate and then went out on the frozen snowy lake and he got down on one knee and ask me to spend the rest of his life with him, right out on the lake while it was snowing! It was a dream come true!” I mean is that not the most magical, romantic, winter wonderland proposal ever?! I’m obsessed!
When I asked these two to share one thing they love about each other, Heather said, “I love how supportive he is and I love how much he loves me, even when I’m feeling down about myself.” And Bill said, “I love her sense of humor and her laugh.”
