Their Wedding Day: Park Chateau Spring Wedding
Amy & Andy’s Park Chateau Spring wedding was absolutely dreamy! The carefully curated details all came together perfectly for the most picturesque day! It’s always an extra awesome wedding day when I get to work with some of my favorite vendors! One of my besties, Michelle Elise Artistry, did such an amazing job glamming the girls to perfection! I also loved that Amy & Andy had their pup, Hazel, make a special guest appearance for some photos! The light in the chapel for the ceremony and around the grounds of Park Chateau was stunning for this morning wedding! I can’t wait to dive into all the photos, but first, I want to share a little more of Amy & Andy’s story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Amy & Andy to share one thing they love about each other, Amy’s answer was, “I love that he also takes my side of an argument and that he always helps me around the house (he cleans, cooks, does dishes, laundry, you name it!).” Andy said, “I love how Amy is always thinking of me in whatever she is doing. For example so she is always looking to buy stuff whenever she is out shopping whether it be clothes, small gift, or something even as small as a snack I mentioned.”
Amy and Andy are both pharmacists who met at pharmacy school at Rutgers New Brunswick. They were both transfer students and had a lot of mutual classes during their first year. As Amy tells it, “We met during our first year in pharmacy school…I remember him and his lab partner standing next to me during one of our lab classes. My friends and I wanted to have more guy friends in our circle, and we thought they were cool, so we would make bets to try and talk to them (but we never did). Luckily, Andy stepped up his game, and randomly Facebook messaged me one day to ask me to sign him into class, which I agreed to do. He, also, managed to get my number during that Facebook convo. And since that day, we became friends.”
Andy proposed to Amy on a trip to Japan. On one of their last days they traveled to the outskirts of Mt Fuji, and Andy popped the question in front of a lake overlooking the mountain. How perfectly picturesque is that?
