Their Session: Deep Cut Gardens & Asbury Park
Kelly & Sean’ engagement session at Deep Cut Gardens & Asbury Park was an absolute BLAST! I love it so much when my couples say they are down to try any crazy posing idea I throw their way, and Kelly & Sean were one of those couples! 🙂 Not to mention, they also brought their husky pup, Mina, to their session! She was so well-behaved, and so photogenic with her bright blue eyes! I couldn’t have dreamt up a better session! Before we dive into some of my favorites from the shoot, let me tell you a little more about Kelly & Sean’s story!
Their Love Story
I asked these two to share with me, one thing they love about each other, and they both had such thoughtful answers! Sean said, “Kelly is very caring and kind. It could be the first time she ever meets you but she will always make sure you feel comfortable and welcome!” Kelly said, “Sean is the sweetest, most loyal, and genuine person I’ve ever met! He’s my teammate and my equal. No gender roles! We both cook and clean and we both work hard. He’s incredible.” Talk about a power couple! They’re so perfect for each other. Let’s take it back to where it all started!
How They Met
They told me, “We first met through mutual friends at a Halloween party in 2015. Sean was a lumberjack and Kelly was a football player. We could not stop talking! A few days after the party, Sean took Kelly on their first date to a small BYOB Lebanese restaurant. There wasn’t a dull moment! We had a lot in common including our passion for health and trying new things. We ended up moving in 6 months later! Ooooppss 🙂 We’ve been together ever since.”
The Proposal
You gotta hear about this sweet proposal! Kelly said, “My fiance, Sean, and I got engaged on President’s Day weekend in Stowe, VT. We planned to go hiking in the snow and he planned his proposal at a frozen waterfall on the Glenn Moss trail. The most surprising part – he hired a VT photographer to capture the moment. I was very impressed with him! Ever since February it’s been non-stop celebrating with family and friends while we plan for the excitement ahead. We love preparing for our future together and thinking about what’s ahead!” So excited for these two to start this next chapter of their story!! 🙂
