Harry Potter Themed Bridal Shower at Hudson Table Philly

The Event: Harry Potter Themed Bridal Shower

I don’t typically photograph or share many non-wedding events, but this Harry Potter themed bridal shower is an extra special one. When my bestie, Tori Kelner, told me about her idea for something unique for her shower, I was immediately all in! I love some good DIY & crafting, especially with an amazing theme like Harry Potter (done in an elevated kinda way)! If you know Tori, you know she’s super creative, so of course her vision for this day and attention to detail was INCREDIBLE. It was such an honor to help with the crafting and to photograph the final result! (Which was basically a masterpiece if I do say so myself.)

Tori and my life motto is Do The Most…so you know for something as special as her bridal shower we absolutely had to bring all the #dothemost energy. All the little details from the spray painted bud vases, and themed fonts for signs and paper goods, to corn syrup potion bottles really brought the theme to life! Our coffee stained envelopes to hold the games for each guest, and custom designed (and on-theme, of course) labels/signage were some of my favorites to help make!

Tori’s bridal shower took place at the incredible Hudson Table in Philly! This space was the perfect vibe for her shower, and the food was AMAZING! They created a customized all vegan menu, and watching the chefs prepare & plate each course was honestly so cool to see! Everything tasted incredible and was so beautifully presented – it was a highlight for sure!

As a favor for her guests, and a fun activity during the shower, Tori wanted to create a terrarium bar! Everyone had the opportunity to build their own little terrarium to take home with them! Everyone had so much fun making these, and the table set up for it was adorable!

To the beautiful bride to be, the one and only Tori Kelner…I love you beyond and I had the best time helping you bring your dream Harry Potter bridal shower vision to life. I’m so grateful to have a bestie like you to craft with until 3am while eating Taco Bell and burning ourselves with a wax seal gun. I’m ready for our next project! 🙂 Can’t wait to celebrate your wedding this summer! YAY! xoxo
