Megan and Erik’s Hoboken waterfront engagement session was absolutely stunning with the gorgeous skyline views, the classic train station, and a park with amazing greenery! They chose this special location because they love going on long walks to see the skyline or the park, so I think that’s such a sweet way to incorporate that part of their relationship into their session! I met Megan a few years ago when I took photos for my younger sister’s sorority. I was SO excited when Megan reached out with the news that she got engaged and wanted to plan her engagement session with me!!! I love the way Erik looks at Megan and the way he makes her laugh! Her smile seriously just lights up. These two are SO sweet and so much fun to photograph – we had a blast exploring and taking photos together!
Megan and Erik have the cutest young love story, and their connection has only grown so much stronger since the day they met! Erik moved to Megan’s hometown in 5th grade, and they knew since then that they would be each other’s forever. By the time 8th grade rolled around, he asked Megan to be his girlfriend on the whiteboard in English class! She said yes, of course, and 11 years later, here they are engaged to be married!!
Erik proposed to Megan in front of his entire family; he said he had the ring for a month and couldn’t hold it in any longer! His brother went up to say a speech to thank his friends and family for coming to his bbq and asked if Erik had anything to say. Erik then said how much he loved Megan and officially asked her to be a part of his family! He got down on one knee, and she said she died a little inside!!!!! Hahah, too cute and so perfect for these two lovebirds!
