Their Wedding Day: Mansion at Natirar Summer Wedding

When Maggie first reached out to me about photographing her Mansion at Natirar summer wedding, she told me her vision for the day. She said, “I am going for a “secret garden” theme — super whimsical and fun with tons of colors and floral.” I’d say she nailed it to a T!!! Everything came together with perfect whimsical vibes, and gorgeous vibrant colors. I LOVED it! The little oranges and colorful candlesticks were some of my favorite parts! Natirar is always one of my favorite venues, and this day was no exception. Every minute was incredible, and so much fun to photograph! I loved working alongside my videographer besties ToneMedia too! 🙂 The best! I can’t wait to share all the gorgeous photos from this day! But first, a bit about Maggie & Ty’s love story.

Their Love Story

Maggie told me one of the things she loves the most about Ty. She said, “I love Ty’s acceptance and kindness. He truly accepts me for who I am and is also the nicest, most generous human being I know.” Maggie and Ty first met on a Thursday night out at a bar in Hoboken. As Maggie tells it, “he was there watching football and I was there with my intramural kickball team after our first game. They set up a bunch of tables for drinking games/socializing and Ty approached me to ask about what my hat meant (it was my High School’s logo..smooth), and the rest was history.”

The Proposal

Just wait til you hear how Ty popped the question! Maggie said, “It happened at home completely unexpectedly — he told me he had a surprise for our friends who were visiting from out of town and he wanted to make it a surprise for me too “just for fun.” Little did I know what he had up his sleeve. After I was finished getting ready, he sat me down on the couch (where he had the ring hidden in the cushions) and popped the Q!”

“From there, I thought we were going to dinner, but he had all of our friends and family (including his fam who flew in from Kansas) waiting at a restaurant next door. I was on the street waiting for the “Uber” to dinner and they were all waving at me through the windows of the restaurant.”
