Their Wedding Day: The Mansion at Natirar Wedding
Alyssa & Brandon’s Mansion at Natirar wedding day was simply UNREAL. From the unique details and decor that Alyssa dreamed up, to the stunning views that Natirar overlooks, and the all out party at the reception…it was truly a dream day! You can tell by the way these two smiled, laughed, and cried, throughout the day, that every emotion was felt and appreciated. It was incredibly special to capture it all.
Alyssa and Brandon are such a fun-loving couple and their personalities shined through every part of the day. It really felt like like “THEM”. The banana ice cream truck, giant light up letters, fun floral design, and voicemail guestbook were just a few of my favorite details! And as if the day wasn’t already incredible…you know I always love when my couples include their furbabies in their weddings. Naturally, I was so pumped when Alyssa told me their Corgi, Cedric would be a part of the day (tuxedo and all)!
Before I share ALL the faves from this day, let me tell you a little about their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Alyssa and Brandon to share with me one thing they love about each other, Alyssa said, “He is THE MOST patient person ever! And supportive in anything I do.” And Brandon said, “I love a lot of things about Alyssa, but I love how compassionate she is and how she makes me go out of my comfort zone.”
How They Met
Alyssa and Brandon first met at Monmouth University when they happened to bump into each other. As Alyssa tells it, “At the time, I was not attending Monmouth but visiting a good friend. I went to pick him up and boom, bumped right into Brandon. I looked up (he’s 6 foot 4), and was immediately like ok… WOW! So I went back to Towson and I didn’t hear from him for 6 more weeks. As you can imagine, an 18 year old her in dorm pacing the floor waiting for a text. Finally, 6 weeks later he texted me and invited me to his fraternity formal, my roommate and I jumped up and down screaming like crazy. I went, had the most amazing night and we have been together ever since!” Seriously how sweet is that story! I’m obsessed.
The Proposal
But the proposal is just as sweet!! Alyssa spilled all the details, “He knocked it out of the park! It was our 7 year anniversary, August 10th (i’m thinking to myself, he wont be cheesy and do it this day, so I didn’t think anything of it). We had plans to go to the city, have drinks and a good dinner. He told me we missed our first train so he has this idea to go to Monmouth cause he wants a pair of sweatpants… i said ok! (nothing weird, we go back to Monmouth a few times).”
“We were walking through campus and there is not a soul there. We went to the most beautiful spot, looking at the flowers and the grounds and just talking about the time we spent there. He grabbed my hand and i immediately go “WHY ARE YOU BEING WEIRD?!” and he tells me he wants to spend the rest of his life with me, he drops to his knee and I start crying and laughing and just kept saying oh my god over and over. He cried, I cried and I said yes before he could even ask!”
To the Newlyweds
Alyssa & Brandon, I am SO happy for you two, and so honored to have been a part of your wedding day. It was such a perfect celebration of you two and your love.
