Their Wedding: Paramount Country Club, New York City, NY
Who doesn’t love a gorgeous September day? Spending this particular day at the Paramount Country Club in New City, NY was already a treat, but enjoying the day celebrating the marriage of two incredible people – AMAZING!
When these two were dreaming up their day Krista said, “The vibe we are going for is rustic/elegant. JC is an expert fly-fisherman and loves the outdoors. He wouldn’t go for anything too stuffy. The ceremony site at the venue has a gorgeous view of the Hudson Valley/Ramapo mountains and there are over 200 acres available to us for photos.” These two totally speak my love language. 🙂 I first got connected with Krista and JC through one of my sweet 2017 couples Alex & Eric! JC was a groomsman in Eric’s wedding, and Eric returned the favor for JC’s big day. It was so fun getting to reconnect with another one of my couples!
Krista and JC are just SO much fun. These two are always up for anything which makes photographing them a BLAST! The way they light each other up is totally contagious! JC, an expert fly-fisherman, made me laugh, saying it was the perfect day for fishing. Even though that may have been true- it was an even MORE perfect day for getting married! Their Love Story
Krista and JC met at a happy hour at a bar in midtown Manhattan by chance and went on their first date the very next night. They have been together for over 7 years now!
Want to hear about the proposal? Krista and JC went away to Los Cabos, Mexico for a Memorial Day weekend adventure. Much to Krista’s surprise, there was a lot more in store then just a fun time away. Krista told me all about it saying, “We arrived on a Thursday night and he didn’t pop the question until Sunday night. It was after dinner, and it was just the two of us drinking wine on the back patio of our hotel room, which was right off the ocean. So it was just the two of us under the stars – it was perfect.” I’d say JC knocked the proposal out of the park, wouldn’t you?!
The love Krista and JC share is just too sweet. When I asked them what they love about each other, JC said, “I love Krista’s style and her independence. Also that she is wholesome and genuine.” Krista said, “I love JC’s loyalty to his friends and how he would drop anything to help a friend. He has a big heart even though he tries to hide it sometimes. He’s also really energetic and adventurous And I love his passion for everything and everyone he loves.”
