Their Session: Pebble Creek Golf Club
Lauren & Bill’s engagement session at Pebble Creek Golf Club was a BLAST! These two are so much fun and totally crushed their session! We had so much fun exploring all over the beautiful Pebble Creek Golf Club grounds & the nearby Colts Neck Municipal Complex! I always love when a session reflects the couple & their story, and this session did just that! Lauren & Bill love PCGC, and would spend time here together in high school, and it’s always been a favorite golfing spot for Bill! I love that they chose this for one of their locations!
I can’t wait to share so many of my favorite photos from the shoot, but first let me tell you about Lauren & Bill’s love story!
Their Love Story
I asked Lauren & Bill to share with me one thing each of them loves about each other! Bill said, “I love how much Lauren cares about me.” And Lauren said, “I love that Billy always does the right thing and is super fair (sometimes to a fault).”
These two love spending their date nights usually with food involved! Lauren told me, “We love trying new places, from holes in the wall to the fancy five star winners. Billy is also an amazing cook – which compliments my wonderful eating skills, so some date nights involve cooking at home. A lot of our dates also involve doing seasonal things – apple picking, pumpkin picking, tree picking, egg dying etc. He is a mega athlete and I trip walking up the stairs so we don’t have too many shared hobbies.” I’m all about doing fun activities and eating great food on date nights!
How They Met
Want to hear how it all started? Lauren told me, “We met in high school over ten years ago but we were just buddies then. Our friendship outlasted most when we headed off to college. We remained close and always took the time to grab coffee when we were home on breaks – but still just friends. Then, one Thanksgiving Eve, all of our high school friends decided to go out together. The tequila was flowing and we started making out. We have been together ever since.” I just love this story and how Lauren & Billy’s love story all started with a strong foundation of friendship!
The Proposal
Their proposal story is such a good one! Lauren tells it best, “Billy’s proposal was perfect. Billy brought me to the city under the illusion that we were celebrating our five year anniversary. Our first date was magical and also in NYC so we spent most of the day reminiscing. It was a few days before Christmas so it was nice to just enjoy the alone time before the craziness of all the family festivities. Billy guided me to Bethesda Fountain where he proposed down on one knee.” Bill knocked it out of the park with this one and definitely made the holiday season a little extra sparkly and a little extra special! 😉
