Their Wedding Day: Refinery at Perona Farms
Stephanie & Tom’s wedding at the new Refinery at Perona Farms was absolutely perfect! I loved getting to celebrate these two at Perona Farms’ new venue, The Refinery! The rustic and industrial vibe of the Refinery was perfect for Steph & Tom’s day! Way back when Steph first reached out I asked her about their wedding style, and she said, “I have always loved the rustic vibe! The [Refinery] is absolutely perfect because it mixes the industrial feeling with the rustic feeling. Also the grounds are incredibly stunning! The vibe of the venue/decorations is one of the most important things to us because we definitely want it to represent us as a couple. If you saw our apartment it’s all brick and distressed wood decorations!” I don’t think you could hand pick a more perfect venue for these two to tie the knot at!
For Steph and Tom’s wedding day I got to work with my favorite videographers, ToneMedia!! Steph and Justin are so insanely talented, and they’re good friends of ours! Ryan and I love getting to work together with them to capture our couples’ wedding days! (#dreamteam) They shared a little sneak peak from Stephanie & Tom’s first look on their Instagram, and I insist…you have to go watch it!! 🙂
Steph and Tom had so many sweet details throughout their day! Steph wore a sweet pin with a charm from her grandmother pinned inside her dress. Some of my favorites included their signature drink named after their dog Sadie, the way they included Sadie on their cake – wait til you see it, it’s so cute, and the sign at the bar with a quote from The Office! Steph and her dad recreated a routine they did for a dance recital when Steph was a little girl. It was such a fun take on the father daughter dance, and so sweet to watch!

Their Love Story
When I asked Stephanie & Tom to share one thing they love about each other, Steph said, “I can completely be myself around him. So lucky to find someone just as weird as I am. He’s my best friend.” Tom said, “She is literally always caring about how I feel and trying to make me happy (most of the time).”
Steph and Tom had their first date back in October of 2018. The went out to a restaurant for drinks, but the night quickly turned into a 3 hour date! Steph said, “I knew pretty much right away that he was the one for me, especially when he fell in love with my golden retriever fur baby Sadie. We have been inseparable ever since.” They love having date nights in together, and Steph told me, “I always say that we are meant to be because we are 80 year olds disguised in 30 year old bodies haha a typical date night includes cooking, a bottle of Malbec, a movie that usually takes forever for us to decide on, and snuggles with our Sadie girl.”
The Proposal
Tom knocked it out of the park with this holiday season NYC proposal! I love this story! Stephanie tells it best! She said, “My whole family all went into NYC for the day to see the Christmas tree and see the Rockefeller Rockettes. We all took turns taking pictures in front of the tree. When it was our turn, Tom got down on one knee and proposed! It was so special to have my family there to witness and celebrate with us. Only my Mom and Dad knew and kept it a secret from the rest of the family. We then spent the rest of the day celebrating and enjoying the special day together.” And now these two are married!!!!

Stephanie & Tom, thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day! It was truly an honor and a joy to be able to capture this special day and document your start to forever!
