Their Wedding Day: The Ryland Inn Grand Ballroom Wedding

Colleen and Guido’s Ryland Inn Grand Ballroom wedding was the most beautiful day! These two were radiating happiness on their wedding day, and it was contagious! I loved the personal touches, like the Rocky Balboa references they included in their day! One of them being the envelope liner of their invitation suite, and another being their epic reception intro to the Rocky theme song. It was perfect. 🙂 The floral design by the amazing Twisted Willow was STUNNING! The pinks and purples made for such a romantic and pretty summer color palette! One of my absolute favorite parts of the day was their incredible first dance!!! The many hours of practicing their choreographed dance to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” was evident in their performance. It was unbelievable and executed to perfection! I can’t wait to share my many favorites from their day, but first, a little bit of their love story!

Their Love Story

When I asked Colleen & Guido to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Colleen said, “Guido has one of the kindest souls. His generosity, motivation to serve and help others, and his strong faith is what attracts me the most.” Guido said he loves Colleen’s “kindness and how driven she is.”

How They Met

Colleen & Guido are so clearly meant to be together, I think anyone who spends a few minutes with them could tell! Colleen told me all about how they first met. She said, “Guido and I met on Hinge. I was always stubborn when it came to downloading any online dating apps, but when we were in the midst of a global pandemic, I knew my chances became even slimmer of ever meeting someone, so I decided to give it a try! A few months later (June 2020), this Italian, spikey haired guy named Guido, came across my profile, and then it was history. Rocky Balboa has always been his hero, and was one of the first of many things we bonded over. He finally found his Adrienne!”

The Proposal

You’ve got to hear how Guido proposed! Colleen tells the story best, “On NYE, Guido took me to the top of the Rocky steps (Philadelphia Art Museum) and when we got to the top of steps there was a violinist playing music. After some nervous moments/slow dancing, he got down on one knee and proposed!”

To the Newlyweds

Colleen & Guido, you two are an absolute JOY to be around, and it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day! Ryan and I loved getting to share in this special season, and capture the sweet memories of your day! We are so excited for you two and all that lies ahead in this next chapter of your love story! Cheers to the start of your forever together!! Sending all our love and a huge hug! xoxo
