Heading out to California for Brittany and Lawrence’s wedding at Avensole Winery was incredible! Honestly, this wedding was nothing short of a dream! Brittany is a friend from high school, and getting to be a part of her day and celebrate in such a beautiful place was absolutely remarkable!

I was SO thrilled to get the chance to shoot at Avensole Winery! The rolling vineyard hills, perfect glowing sunset, and open air reception space was pure magic. Every part of their day was unique and special, and such a perfect celebration of their love. Brittany and Lawrence are an amazing couple. Brittany has the sweetest, funniest, most genuine soul. And seeing the way Lawrence looks at her, cares for her, and the way the two of them laugh together, you can just tell they’re meant to be. Getting to be a part of a beautiful day, at such a stunning location, with the most incredible couple – honestly I couldn’t ask for anything more. This day felt like we were living in a movie! I loved getting to spend the day celebrating Britt & Lawrence, and all their relationship is!

Their Love Story

Lawrence and Brittany first met by connecting on Tinder! Britt had recently broken up, was about to start graduate school, and Lawrence was stationed an hour away from Syracuse at Ft. Drum! Brittany deleted Tinder right after exchanging numbers, and the rest is history. As Brittany tells it, “We were in a long distant relationship for about 2 years (he’s in the military!) full of highs & lows & love & travel…After my graduation & his deployment, we moved together to Hawaii & we are now the proud, happy owners of a beautiful town home & puppy! We are so blessed with the best friends, most loving families, and each other.”

Their proposal story is just as sweet as these two are! I absolutely loved hearing all the details of how Lawrence popped the question! Brittany told me about it saying, “Oh gosh, our story was perfect for us!”

Lawrence was scheduled to leave for flight school, and Brittany’s birthday was coming up. It would be their last celebratory event before he left for the 4-6 month training. Deep down, Brittany was secretly hoping that this would be the day. As Brittany tells it, “As the day unfolded, I noticed that he was getting more nervous about silly things like my birthday cake, so I started getting suspicious and excited, like “maybe this is it!!!” We spent a beautiful night on a sunset cruise with our closest friends, my Nana & cousin were also there. We then headed to Maui Brewing company for games, dinner, and drinks with the whole group. Eventually it was almost time for cake! My friends had been saying “let’s fix your hair,” “let’s go to the bathroom,” all these things & I was like “WHY?!” Needless to say, as the cake came out, everyone was singing & taking pictures. The cake didn’t have a proposal on it, so I was trying to not seem disappointed! BUT there was a second cake that I didn’t know about, in a heart shape with ring pops & the most perfect ring in the middle. I had always said I would say YES, even if he asked with ring pops. There was SO much love & tears & cheers & bubbly, I could only nod yes. It was so beautiful to be surrounded by people who love us & know us. We are over the moon!!!!! 🙂

Lawrence knocked it out of the park on his proposal and did such a great job of making this special, memorable and completely on point for who they are as a couple!

I love that their story is filled with surprise, laughter, love and commitment…for each other and the important people in their lives. I was SO honored to be a part of this day for two incredible people!

You two are absolutely wonderful and being able to capture these moments in your lives meant the world to me! You guys are the BEST and I am so excited to share these memories with you!
