Lisa & Seth’s wedding day at the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club was simply unforgettable. Lisa and Seth wanted this day to be a big party – a celebration of their love! And they had made sure that this day was exactly that. Being surrounded by a huge bridal party of their closes friends made the day a ton of fun! During their reception, the whole entire time, their dance floor was packed & energetic. It was one of those weddings that I just didn’t want to leave! As we were packing up our gear my favorite song in the world – “Shout!” came on, so then naturally we stayed til the end of the night tearing it up on the dance floor! 😉 Lisa & Seth’s day was absolutely a big party, and a perfect celebration of their love!
I absolutely LOVE these two and being a part of their wedding day. Let me tell you a little about their love story, because you guys, it’s a really good one.
Lisa and Seth met by running into each other during 4th of July at the beach while staying at separate shore rentals for the summer with their friends. Lisa told me, “He says he noticed me that first night and then slowly started friending me on social media channels until we ran into each other again at the end of the summer. After leaving the bar we hung out on a bench on the boardwalk until way too late talking about all our favorite things! (food, sports, music.. although we differ on sports teams, which is always a friendly competition!) After that and the summer was over, he would come visit me in Hoboken before he moved up here a few months later.”
Their proposal story is just the sweetest too! Lisa tells it like this, “On a Saturday in February (2 days after my birthday) I had a bridal shower during the day, and we had plans to go to a karaoke place in the city with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday that evening. (We all think we are great singers…) When I came home to our apartment after the bridal shower around 5pm, Seth had decorated the room with candles and roses and proposed there! It was so nice to have that moment just the two of us before celebrating with our friends that night. Some of them still thought it was for my birthday so they were so shocked when we told them it was for our engagement!” How sweet is that? I love that Seth made the proposal such a special moment in their home, and then had the plans already in place to celebrate with their friends that night! It really couldn’t be more perfect!
Lisa and Seth, I had so much fun capturing all the memories of your day and your love story! Thank you so much for letting me come along for the ride to celebrate alongside you two. I love you both so much! Congratulations, newlyweds!!! You’re married!! xoxoxo
