THEIR SESSION: PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Megan and Daniel’s Palm Springs, California engagement session was a blast! Palm Springs is such a scenic place with ENDLESS opportunities for fun and unique photos! We hit up all the best spots including the colorful iconic Saguaro Hotel, the Palm Springs welcome sign, the windmill fields and some cute neighborhoods on the “door tour”!
You may recognize these two from some other sessions on my blog (like this Laguna Beach session)! I’m lucky enough to have my sister and her hubby to model for me any time I want to explore a new location and take photos. We had so much fun exploring this Southern California oasis, and taking tons of photos! Before we dive into some of my favorite shots from this Palm Springs session, let me tell you a little more about these two love birds! 😉
THEIR LOVE STORY
I asked Megan & Daniel to share one thing they love about each other. Megan said, “I love his bravery. He is one of the bravest people I know and yet one of the most caring and thoughtful. Even though he’s brave, he can be vulnerable with me… that makes me feel like he lets me in on a part of him that not many others get to see.” Daniel said, “I love her goofiness because it always brightens my day.”
How They Met
Megan & Daniel originally connected over social media & after several attempts by Daniel to ask Megan on a date, she finally agreed. They went to a local restaurant called Route 66 in Glendora. Megan told me after they ate at the restaurant, they drove up to the mountains to look at the skyline and talk. She said, “We got to know each other pretty well for a first date- and spent a lot of time talking about astrology and spirituality. Daniel said he fell in love from the first date… but I wasn’t so sure. I didn’t really feel “smitten” until our third date. :P”
The Proposal
The night Daniel proposed, he and Megan went out to dinner. Then Daniel took Megan to the place where they had their first kiss – the a beautiful overlook with an incredible view. That night there was the most perfect vibrant sunset painting the sky. Daniel even recorded the proposal on video using his drone! How sweet is that?
