Wow, 2021, has been a WHIRLWIND. What a year. After the pandemic resulted in 2020 being the year of postponement after postponement, 2021 stacked up to be our busiest year ever. Without a doubt 2021 was wild, and a little overwhelming. But it was also one of the most JOYFUL and exciting years yet. All my couples who had to postpone their big day, and FINALLY got to celebrate with family & friends this year, had the most incredible wedding days. And if I do say so myself, they were well worth the wait. I always love getting down with a good dance floor, but this year was especially hyped and energetic. You could feel the energy that everyone was just so excited and happy to be there together. It was truly something special.
I feel like I have an extra special bond with all my COVID couples, having been working together sometimes for a whole extra year, sharing the experience of postponing a wedding, and navigating a pandemic together, these couples hold a special place in my heart. I’m so grateful for the friendships and for getting to be a part of this special journey for my couples.
